In between an assembly and set-up job and a buff-polish job for a new build, a friend asked if we could make him a pedal board - and we said, “why not?”.
So, we gathered some left over curly maple, black limba and began figuring out a design. Some plywood from our wood supply helped with the underside and board top. We decided to cap it off with some black arcylic from a sheet we purchased on Amazon. It cut really well on the table saw as well as the desktop CNC.
Inside we installed and secured a Voodoo Labs power supply and power bar. On each end of the board are female-to-female, 1/4” locking jacks to allow for two different signal paths all hidden away.
The slots were were cut and positioned to accommodate a Fractal Axe 8 on the left hand side, two expression pedals, a pedal tuner and wireless pedal. All will be held in place with 3M’s lockable and velcro which the customer will place themselves.
Stay frosty!
